The Marlborough Convention Bureau and Marlborough Convention Centre are bringing conference organisers from all over New Zealand to Marlborough for two days to showcase the region as a conference destination.
The group of 21 will cruise the Marlborough Sounds, visit a winery and check out accommodation and the convention centre.
Convention bureau manager Olivia Bowers said the aim is to convince the visitors that Marlborough has all the right ingredients to host their future conference.
Several big conferences are booked for next year, including the largest conference in Marlborough to date, with more than 1000 people scheduled for September.
