Southern Lakes in Lonely Planet’s Top 10
Lonely Planet, has launched its newest book, Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2012, by naming the world’s Top 10 Regions to
visit in 2012, and has chosen the Southern Lakes region - Queenstown, Lake Wanaka and Fiordland - for the list.
Best in Travel’s recommendations are drawn from hundreds of ideas submitted by the publisher’s staff, authors and
community of travellers, bloggers and tweeters. Their suggestions are then refined in-house, based on topicality, excitement, value and ‘that special X-factor’.
